I'm a single grandmother of eight; guardian of 2 of my eight grandchildren 9 and 8 years old. I have been the guardian of these two since their birth (1995 and 1996). I purchased a home in 2000, which at that time I could afford (credit counselling), but since then with property taxes, escrow shortages, repairs, etc. it has become more difficult to pay my mortage. I would like to go back to school, but can't afford to with all the debt that I have.
